the unbearable pressure of responsibility

making this, i wanted it to be longer, but attempting to layer stuff on top just proved to undermine the chords' emotional meaning. the chords were made deliberately with the same less intentional method that "gone fishing under the stars" used, but taken even further with a more suspended basic layout with the same note cuts and bass movements.

the title's a very personal message. i'm strong because i have to be to go on but i desperately wish i could just give up and defer to others. if i could choose between being strong enough to protect myself or weak but protected by someone i can trust i'd never choose the first.
